Love notes

Kennedy gave me a love letter yesterday.

She also gave one to her dad.

(And just in case you can't read 6 yr-old:

Mom I love you 'cause you make us dinner and you play with me and you are the best mom and you are the loveliest mom.

Dad I love you. I know that you can't sleep when I wake you up.)

Post-its and crayons.

Kennedy came in to work with me for a few minutes, yesterday. She kept herself quite busy with post-it notes and crayons.

Walking into my office this morning and seeing this truly brightened my day:

The pattern: mermaid, green dot, shark, volcano, letters, birds, truck, dinosaur.

I sure love that girl.
